Hello there! I'm Jim Elijah.
Jim comes from one of my names.
Elijah is taken from Elijah Mikaelson — the The Originals character I admire most. I try to embody loyalty, integrity, and quiet strength.
I'm a software developer with a preference for simplicity, clarity, and craftsmanship. I'm introverted, low-key, and independent, and I value freedom in both work and life. I'm also a realist with a traditionalist side: I like what lasts.
I'm drawn to practical product thinking—especially UI/UX—and the reliability of engineering: testing, DevOps, and the details that make software truly usable. I also enjoy building small open-source tools that solve everyday problems. Outside code, I keep learning languages (English, Japanese, French) because they change how I see and express ideas.
I watch movies and TV shows—especially Hong Kong, British, and American productions—plus I enjoy chasing and catching up on anime. I play games too: classic single-player titles (like Battle City) and Chinese chess, and FPS games with more tactical energy (for example Delta Force). And yes, I like cooking what I truly want to eat, even if it often takes more time than I'd like.
The heart wants what it wants.
